Composition

Each pre-filled syringe contains Glatiramer acetate, 20 mg in 1 ml.

Indications

Copaxone® is indicated for frequency reducing of relapses in ambulatory patients with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) in Relapse- Remission phase, characterized with at least two neurologic dysfunction relapses during previous period of two years. Copaxone® is also indicated for reducing disability progression, intensity and seriousness of MS in Relapse-Remission phase, in patients with EDSS = 5.

Posology and administration route

Recommended dose of Copaxone® for Sclerosis Multiple treatment in Relapse Remission phase is 20 mg/ml (one pre-filled syringe), injected subcutaneously once a day.

Contraindications

Copaxone® is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitiveness to Glatiramer acetate or mannitol.

In case of severe hypersensitiveness reaction, appropriate symptomatic treatment should be indicated and Copaxone® must be discontinued.
