Composition

Factor II (protrombine), factor VII (proconvertine) factor IX (factor Christmas) and factor X (factor Stuart-Prower) of human coagulation.

1 ml of reconstituted contains:

Factor II 24 UI
Factor VII 18 UI
Factor IX 25 UI
Factor X 24 UI
Protein C 25 U
Proteín S 10 U
Heparin 5 -12.5 UI
Total proteins 26 mg
Sodium citrate 6.5 mg

The preparation does not contain any conservatives or antimicrobian agents.

Indications

Perioperative reposition and prophilaxis and treatment of bleeding episodes in patients with adquiried or congenital deficiencies of the coagulation factors II VII IX and/or X.

Contraindications

Hipersensibility (alergy) to any of the compounds of the preparation. Thrombocitopenia induced by heparin (type II). Recent miocardial infarction, angor or increasedrisk of thrombosis.
Increased riesk of diseminated intravascular coagulation. The concentrated complex of prothombinic factors should be administered only after the treatment of the cause of the ICD.

How Supplied

Glass ampoule of 30 ml with freeze and dry liofilizated. Solvent (20 ml of water for injection) in a glass ampoule. Includes infusion set for administration. (1 two sides needle and 1 filter).
