On July 2012 and given injectable facility upgrade, Clausen started manufacturing Enoxaparin in prefilled syringes for Laboratorios Phoenix, part of GlaxoSmithKline Group (GSK).
On June 2012 Clausen redesigned the injectable facility in order to comply with WHO latest recommendations on aseptic processing. Most stringent international guidelines were used to perform this actualization and state-of-the-art equipment was acquired. The result is a manufacturing site unique for its characteristics along the region for prefilled syringes of biologic products.
The European Medicines Agency (E.M.A) audit and approved for second time the High Tech Pharmaceutical facility of Laboratorios Clausen S.A in Montevideo – Uruguay, place where Mycophenolate mofetil is produced under the brands Suprimun/Micoflavin/Myclausen.
